Designed and developed on the light tank M-24 chassis, the American M-18 Hellcat tank-destroyer was characterised by its manoeuvrability and speed. Thanks to its main armament formed by a 76 mm. anti-tank gun it was very effective and lethal for the most part of enemy armoured vehicles. It provides a reliable mobile anti-tank capability to U.S. army thanks to its speed and good firepower.
